Patrick started his career in the insurance industry after his graduation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1987. He first joined the insurance broking arm of a British conglomerate as an Executive Trainee and had moved to General Manager in charge of retail broking and its China operations by the time he left the company. In 2000, he moved onto an international bank taking up a global role for its Bancassurance activities and gained much exposure in the Asian region. Patrick joined Nova Insurance in 2003 and now manages Nova Insurance Group’s operations in Hong Kong, Macau as well as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou under an affiliated company of FSE Lifestyle. His specialized areas include construction, property, aviation insurance and China having been servicing clients with investments there since 1990. Patrick was elected President of the Hong Kong Insurers Club for 2010/11 and is a General Committee member and the Immediate Past Chairman of the Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers (CIB) which was an approved body of insurance brokers to implement self-regulation of insurance brokers in Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance and also sitting on the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) Hong Kong Member Advisory Board.

Conrad is responsible for managing our China operation. He is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong and brought with him over 30 years solid experience in insurance having worked in leading insurance broking firm and credit insurer. Prior to joining Nova Insurance, Mr Wong was Commercial Director of the largest credit insurers in the World, responsible for all commercial activities including Market Management, Distribution and Underwriting in Greater China and Korea. At his time as a broker, he was involved in handling all types of property and casualty insurance for large corporates and very familiar with the London market.

Rebecca joined Nova Insurance in 1994 and is the Deputy Managing Director of Nova Insurance Group. She is mainly responsible for overseeing financial functions and corporate administration management of Nova Insurance in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.

She holds a Master Degree of Laws in Chinese Business Law from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master Degree of Professional Accounting from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is an Associate Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute.

With her broad spectrum of professional knowledge and extensive experience spans more than three decades, she develops and oversees financial plans and strategies aligned with the organization’s goals. She also oversees Nova’s corporate administration functions including human resources, legal and compliance.

Joseph joined Nova in 2023 as Senior Director - Operations. 

He is a seasoned insurance professional with more than three decades of experience, Joseph dedicated a significant portion of his career to insurance broking and consultancy. He had worked for several leading international brokers.  Over the years, he has successfully managed complex corporate and global accounts and overseen sophisticated construction and infrastructure projects in both Hong Kong and Mainland China.  Prior to joining Nova, Joseph was the Chief Distribution Officer of two renowned insurance companies under a banking group overseeing the sales operations and responsible for formalizing and implementing the business development strategy.  He holds a Diploma in Insurance Studies from The Insurance Institute of Hong Kong and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester. He is a Certified Insurance Practitioner in the UK and Fellow Member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance in the Australia.  

Kenneth joined Nova in 2018 offering technical support to all General insurance servicing teams. He is also responsible for supervising the Macau operation and the reinsurance broking arm under our entity International Reinsurance Management Ltd.

He holds a Professional Diploma in Insurance Studies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester. He is a Certified Insurance Practitioner and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK. He has over four decades of insurance experience in business development, risk analysis, broking and placement of complex risks. Prior to joining Nova, Kenneth had held senior positions in different local and global broking houses.
